Selecting the operating mode

While the device is switched on, press the

Charging external devices
The CD clock radio has a charging function which you can use to charge the bat-
teries of devices that are usually charged via a USB connection. The maximum
charging current is 1.0 A.

The CD clock radio must be connected to the mains in order to charge
external devices.

You can purchase a suitable USB charging cable (not supplied) in any
consumer electronics shop.

Insert the USB-A connector on the USB charging cable into the USB connec-
tion

Insert the other USB connector on the USB charging cable into the USB
connection on the external device.

The external device will start charging after a few seconds. During this, the
CD clock radio can be switched on or in standby mode.

After charging the external device, pull the USB charging cable out of the
USB connection
