Safety Guidelines
▪ Only connect the device to a properly installed, isolated ground receptacle. The cable and connec-
tor must be dry.
▪ Do not pull the connection cable over sharp edges or clamp it, do not let it hang down and protect
it from heat and oil.
▪ Do not place the device on hot surfaces, such as hotplates, etc., and do not operate near open
flames.
▪ Do not pull the plug by the cable and do not pull the plug out of the outlet with wet hands.
▪ Do not switch on the device with an empty glass jar.
▪ Always operate the device with a closed lid. Always wait for the blades to come to a stand-
still before removing the lid or the glass jar.
▪ Never handle objects in the glass jar while the device is running.
▪ Do not reach into the jar before the power plug has been unplugged.
▪ Before removing the glass jug, be sure to set the selector switch to the OFF position 0.
▪ Attention! There is a risk of scalding when processing hot food. In extreme cases, the glass jar
could be damaged. Only food with a maximum temperature of 60°C may be processed. In this case,
do not fill the jar more than halfway and firmly press the lid on the jar during operation.
▪ Be careful dealing with the sharp cutting blades when emptying the jar and when cleaning it.
▪ The device must be switched off and removed from the power supply before changing out accesso-
ries or additional parts that move during operation.
▪ Do not operate the device or immediately unplug it if:

the device or power cable is damaged
⋅
there is suspicion of a defect or something similar after it has fallen.
In these cases, submit the device for repair.
▪ The power plug is to be pulled:
⋅
if faults occur during operation
⋅
prior to all cleaning and maintenance
⋅
after use.
▪ Do not submerge the propulsion unit in water.
▪ No liability is assumed for any damage in cases of misuse, improper operation or non- professional
repair. Warranty payments are also excluded in such cases.
▪ The device is not intended for commercial use.
