2 - General information
2.1 - Before and after use, carry out all the checks
described in each product's specific "user instructions".
2.2 - If you have the slightest doubt concerning safety
conditions or the product's effectiveness, replace it
immediately. Never use a product after it has been
subjected to a fall, as internal damage or malformation
that is not obvious to the naked eye can seriously
affect its resistance. Incorrect usage, mechanical
deformation, the accidental dropping of an instrument,
contamination by chemicals, exposure to heat (100°C
max. for all metal products - 50°C max. for product
containing textile components), are just some of the
things that can reduce, restrict and even sometimes
eliminate the product's normal working life expectancy.
Caution: never leave your equipment in a vehicle in
direct sunlight!

points cannot necessarily be guaranteed. In order to
ensure the appropriate level of protection, a prior
critical evaluation by the user is therefore essential.
2.7 - The anchor point's position is vital in terms of
safely stopping a fall: carefully assess the height of the
drop, the length of the rope and the "pendulum" effect
in such a way as make sure each potential obstacle
is avoided: terrain, equipment rubbing, etc. ).
2.8 - Your life depends on your equipment and its
condition (wear, storage, checks, etc.). If you are not
6
using your own equipment, we strongly recommend
that the before and after use checks are performed by
a qualified person. In all cases, we recommend that at
a minimum, a thorough check is made by a qualified
person each year. Record and keep the following

the textile components. This operation should be carried
out after the equipment has been fully cleaned and
