been separated well enough.
The device is being used for
the fi rst time.
The device is dirty.

Fix
Make sure that all of the
pieces of food which you cut
up small are of roughly the
same size.
Fill the drawer no more than
2/3 full with food.
With some food, it is advis-
able to mix the food around
from time to time.
Any coating residues that
may remain may result in
a small amount of odour
and / or smoke development.
The odour should disappear
once the device has been
used several times.
Follow the instructions in
the "Cleaning and Storage"
chapter.
