Adjusting the knife
Sharp properly adjusted knives are necessary to
achieve optimum working results with the EDER
Carving Cutter set ESF-56.

The supplied knife gauge is used for setting:
Slightly loosen the knife screw
Set the knife gauge on the milling head
Fix the knives in this position. The two

Caution
The knives must never protrude the milling head
by more than 1mm, since the milling head is used
to limit the depth.
Caution
The knife screws for the knife must be tightened
using a torque of 35Nm. Check that the knives are
securely attached before each use.
Dull knives can be sharpened manually on
standard grinding wheels. The cutting angle is 40°
and the curvature radius of the knives must be
maintained. Otherwise, the knife does not remove
wood uniformly.
