3.2 Operating and maintenance instructions
Protect the instrument and electrodes at all times from conditions that could damage the
mechanical and electronic components. Pay particular attention to the following points:
• The temperature and ambient humidity during operation and storage must be within
the limits specified in the technical data
• The instrument must be kept away from the following influences at all times:
- Extreme dust, moisture and wetness
- Intense light and heat
- Irritant fumes or vapours containing high concentrations of solvents
• The batteries must be removed when storing the device at ambient temperatures above
50°C, or before long periods without use
• When connecting the Micro-USB interface cable, take care to connect only approved
components
