3.1 Scope of delivery

3.2 Operating and maintenance instructions
Protect the instrument and electrodes at all times from conditions that could damage the
mechanical and electronic components. Pay particular attention to the following points:
• The temperature and ambient humidity during operation and storage must be within
the limits specified in the technical data
• The instrument must be kept away from the following at all times
- Extreme dust, moisture and wetness
- Intense light and heat
- Irritant fumes or vapours containing high concentrations of solvents
• The battery must be removed when storing the instrument at ambient temperatures
above 50°C or before long periods without use
• When connecting the USB interface cable, ensure that only permitted components
are connected
Operation with the USB 300 interface cable is recommended. In this case,
the instrument will draw power from the USB interface of the connected PC
or USB power adapter.
• If no electrode is connected, or if the connecting cable is faulty, mV or pH values are
still displayed. These do not constitute a valid measurement result.
