2.4. Instructions for the battery

Your camera may be operated with the battery
supplied. Charge the battery with the supplied
USB mains adapter only.
Please heed the following general instructions on
handling batteries:
• Keep batteries away from children. Seek med-
ical attention immediately if a battery is swal-
lowed.
• Before inserting the battery, check that the
contacts in the device and on the battery are
clean and clean them if necessary.
• Insert only the battery supplied.
• Note the polarity (+/-) when inserting the bat-
tery.
• Store the battery in a cool, dry place. Direct in-
tense heat can damage the battery. Therefore,
