i) Calibration Function
The weather station and outdoor sensor sensors were already calibrated by the manufacturer. However, if more
precise data from other measuring devices are available, you may set correction factors for the following sensor
measured values:
• Wind speed
• Rain volume
• Rain volume total
• Outdoor humidity
• Outdoor temperature
• Indoor humidity
• Indoor temperature
Manual calibration usually is not required, because, e.g., the wind speed or rain volume at the site of setup
is not comparable with data you may find, e.g., online for a certain region. Calibration would only be
sensible if the outdoor sensor was placed, e.g., right next to a meteorological measuring station and you
want to adjust the weather station data to it.
Proceed as follows:
• Keep the "HISTORY" button pushed for approx. 8 seconds to start calibration.
• The current correction factor (default setting "1.00") now flashes in the wind sensor display area.
Set the value with the button "+" of "MIN/MAX". Keep the respective button pressed for quick adjustment.
The wind speed measured by the wind sensor is multiplied with this correction factor and displayed.
• Briefly push the button "SET"; the rain volume correction factor flashes (default "1.00").
Set the value with the button "+" of "MIN/MAX". Keep the respective button pressed for quick adjustment.
The rain volume measured by the rain sensor is multiplied with this correction factor and displayed.
• Briefly press the button "SET"; the rain volume total flashes.
Set the value with the button "+" of "MIN/MAX". Keep the respective button pressed for quick adjustment.
The set total is added to the measured rain volume.
• Briefly push the button "SET"; the current measured value for the outdoor humidity flashes.
Set the value with the button "+" of "MIN/MAX". Keep the respective button pressed for quick adjustment.
• Briefly push the button "SET"; the current measured value for the outdoor temperature flashes.
Set the value with the button "+" of "MIN/MAX". Keep the respective button pressed for quick adjustment.
• Briefly push the button "SET"; the current measured value for the indoor humidity flashes.
Set the value with the button "+" of "MIN/MAX". Keep the respective button pressed for quick adjustment.
• Briefly push the button "SET"; the current measured value for the indoor temperature flashes.
Set the value with the button "+" of "MIN/MAX". Keep the respective button pressed for quick adjustment.
• Briefly press the button "SET" to leave the setting mode and return to the regular display (alternatively do not push
any button for 30 seconds).
