Inspection

Check the following before every use:
-
Is there evidence of damage to the device?
-
Is there evidence of damage to the controls?
-
Are the accessories in proper condition?
-
Are the supply lines and wiring in proper condition?
-
Are the ventilation openings free and clean?
Do not put a damaged device or accessory into operation. Have it inspected and repaired by the
manufacturer, the manufacturer's customer service or a qualified specialist.
WARNING!
Risk of fire and explosion due to leaking finned heat exchanger!
The refrigerant circuit of the finned heat exchanger contains a highly
flammable gas at high pressure. There is a risk of fire and explosion if the
refrigerant escapes in an uncontrolled manner.
- Keep heat sources and naked flames away from the heat pump.
- Do not drill or burn into the heat pump.
- Shut down the heat pump immediately if you suspect leakage of the
refrigerant.
- Contact an authorised specialist immediately if you suspect leakage of the
refrigerant.

Ice on the finned heat exchanger

During operation of the heat pump, a layer of ice from condensation water may form on the finned
heat exchanger. This phenomenon is to be expected. Depending on the ambient conditions, it is
possible that the ice layer that has formed might not be completely defrosted by the automatic
defrosting feature, resulting in reduced output and damage to the heat pump.
