2. Take all parts out of the packaging.
3. Check that the delivery is complete.
4. Check the delivery for damage.

Basic cleaning of the device

1. Remove the packaging material and any protective films.
2. Clean all of the parts included in the scope of delivery as described in the chapter on
"Cleaning".
The device is now clean and ready for use.

Preparing the installation site and connections

A well-chosen and well-prepared installation site will simplify the installation and operation of the
heat pump significantly. The following requirements must be met or taken into consideration:
- An installation site outdoors
- Protection from flooding and strong exposure to rain or watering systems.
- Stable, even and water-resistant subsurface.
- Required minimum distance to walls or objects (see Fig. E).
- Required minimum distance of 2 m from the swimming pool.
- Uncomplicated connection options for the water lines.
- Uncomplicated connection options for the electrical supply.
- Easy access to the display.
- Ability to drain the condensation water.
- Surroundings that are insensitive to vibration and noise.
