Eliminating minor faults yourself

Before you call customer service:
Check to see whether or not you can remedy the fault yourself on the basis of the
following instructions.
You have to bear the cost of consultation from Customer Service yourself, even during
the period of guarantee.

Possible cause
Power failure; fuse has tripped;
mains plug not inserted properly.
Malfunction - it is too warm in
the freezer compartment!
S Freezer compartment door is
open.
S The ventilation openings are
blocked.
S Too much food was placed at
once in the freezer
compartment.
S The fully automatic
defrosting function has begun.
After half an hour at
most, the cooling begins
again.
Once the fault has be remedied
the indicator light will go out
automatically after a short time.
Remedial action
Check that the power is on; fuse must be
reset.
l
Press the  "/ "alarm" button to cancel
the warning tone.
Close the door.
Ensure that there is adequate ventilation.
Do not exceed the max. freezing capacity.
