Explanation *: The selection of sizes and sides always relates to therapy
in the extension direction.
INFORMATION
Selecting the size of the 17BK2=* Dynamic Unit is comparable to selecting
the size of the 17BK1=* Static Corrective System Joint. Size recommen-
dations can be found in the instructions for use of the static corrective
system joint. The size must be selected by the prosthetist/orthotist.
4.2 Assembly
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to malfunction. Prior to delivering the orthosis verify
the dynamic unit's function and use as intended.
CAUTION
Risk of jamming during assembly/disassembly. When assembling/di-
sassembling the dynamic unit make sure that the tension on the spring is
minimal. The "white" colour range must be visible in the viewing window.
CAUTION
Improper Adjustment
Avoid over or undercorrection when adjusting the dynamic unit on the
static correction system joint. Adjustments may only be made by trained
and experienced qualified personnel.
