Fitting abrasive wheel or disc

The autobalancer support flange [7] is fixed to
the spindle.
A removable support flange, as on the other angle

grinders, is not required.
▸
Push the abrasive wheel [11] onto the auto-
balancer support flange [7].
• The grinding wheel must rest uniformly on the
supporting flange.
• The sheet metal flange of cut-off wheels must rest
on the supporting flange.
Risk of severe injuries
For safety reasons, always use the
¾
cut-off safety hood when working
with cutting wheels.
Quick-clamping nut (depending on
configuration)
Tightening the quick-clamping nut
Attention !
Only attach the quick-clamping nut [12] to
machines with the "quick-clamping system".
▸
Lock the spindle.
▸
Push the quick-clamping nut [12] onto the
spindle [6] so that the two lugs engage in the two
grooves of the spindle.
▸
Tightening the quick-clamping nut in clockwise
direction by hand.
▸
Tighten the quick-clamping nut further by turning
the abrasive wheel firmly in a clockwise direction.
Loosening the quick-clamping nut
Attention !
Only when the quick-clamping nut [12] is
¾
attached may the spindle be stopped using the
red spindle locking knob [8]!
▸
The machine runs on after switching off. Just
before the abrasive wheel comes to a standstill,
press the red spindle locking knob [8].
The quick-clamping nut [12] is loosened auto-

matically by approx. half a turn and can then be
unscrewed without additional force or tools.

Take care to prevent the machine

from drawing in additional dust and
chips.
Keep away from dust deposits when

switching the machine ON and OFF.
Switch ON
▸
Push the switch-on inhibitor [2] in the direction of
the arrow and press the trigger switch [1].
Switch OFF
▸
Release the trigger switch [1].
