Operation

Before getting started

• Read chapter "For your safety" from
page EN-5 and observe all safety notices.
• Set up and connect the appliance as
described in chapter "First use" from
page EN-17.

Switching on
1. Set the temperature controller (1) to a set-
ting of between 'MIN' and 'MAX'.
The appliance is then switched on. The
compressor starts to work, the refrigerant
flows through the pipes and a quiet hum-
ming sound can be heard.
2. If the appliance is making unusual noises,
check that it is stable and remove any ob-
jects that may be on top of it.
Switching off
1. Set the temperature controller (1) to
'OFF'.
The compressor is switched off. The appli-
ance doesn't refrigerate anymore.
2. To switch the appliance off completely,
pull out the mains plug.
If the appliance is switched off, leave the
door open slightly to avoid mould forma-
tion.

Operation

Setting the temperature

Using the temperature controller (1), you can
set the temperature in the freezer compart-
ment.
• First select a medium setting.
• If, for example in summer, the ambient
temperature increases, so select a lower
setting accordingly.
To
– increase the refrigeration output, turn the
temperature controller towards 'MAX'.
– decrease the refrigeration output, turn the
temperature controller towards 'MIN'.
To check the refrigeration output, place a
fridge/freezer thermometer in the freezer.
The ideal storage temperature is -18 °C.
