General Safety Instructions
Designated Use
A pneumatic assembly tool is to be used only for tightening
of threaded joints or running down fasteners using industrial
power tool type drive sockets or bits.
Never use hand tool type sockets or bits with
an industrial power tool. Hand tool sockets or
bits can break resulting in a hazard of flying
pieces.
Do not modify the tool, any guard, or accessory unless
approved in writing by Apex Tool Group, LLC. All safety
devices must be properly installed and maintained in good
working order.
Any abuse or misuse of this tool, drive
sockets, bits, or accessories can be extremely
dangerous. We recommend the use of Apex®
brand drive sockets and bits manufactured by
Apex Tool Group, LLC.
Putting into service
Only fully trained personnel should install, adjust, operate,
or repair this tool.
Air supply
Connect the tool to a clean lubricated air supply capable
of providing a measured maximum air supply of 90 psig at
the tool with the tool running and the lever fully depressed.
Make certain an air shut off valve is installed within reach of
the tool's workspace.
