1. PRESENTATION
The C.A 700 is a visual and audible alternating and direct
voltage detector, a continuity detector and also a phase/neutral
identification detector.
It has been designed to comply with the IEC 61243-3
international standard (relative to class B voltage detectors
which are used up to 1,000 V
to the demands contained in the UTE C 18-510 compendium
of general electrical safety instructions.
The C.A 700 is intended to be used up to 690 V
It meets the special regulations pertaining to work carried
out on live instruments:
High degree of electrical safety for a qualified user.
Electronic protection up to 1,000 Vrms for detecting
continuity when the circuit is live.
High degree of protection or the casing: IP 65.
Test probes which are non-retractable owing to the low
measuring current: < 3.5 mA to U
N.B. This detector is not a measuring instrument.
It clearly indicates the "voltage presence" and/or
"absence of voltage" states.
