TOASTED HAM AND CHEESE SANDWICH
4 TOASTED SANDWICH
Ingredients :
- 8 slices ofbread
- 30 g of soft butter
- 4 slices of ham
- 4 slices of cheese for toasted sandwiches
Preparation :
- Butter the 8 slices of bread on one side only.
- Place half of a slice of ham on each slice of bread. Place one slice of cheese on
4 slices of bread.
- Cover with the other toasts (non-buttered side facing upwards).
Cooking :
- Add a little oil to the plates so that the sandwiches do not stick together and heat up the appliance.
- Once the appliance is hot, put 2 toasted sandwiches inside and close the appliance.
- when they are well browned, remove and serve hot.
WAFFLES
22 waffles (approximately)
Ingredients :
- 500 g flour
- 1 sachet of baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 125 g of melted butter
- 30 g of caster sugar
- 2 sachets of vanilla sugar
- 4eggs
- 75 cl of milk
You can increase the quantity of sugar to 50g in order to get the waffles browner.
Preparation :
- In a container: mix the flour, caster sugar, salt and eggs. Beat the contents using a
whisk.
- Melt the butter. In a bowl, mix the yeast with the milk.
- Put the mixture and the melted butter in the large container.
- Mix gently until the dough has a smooth consistency.
- Leave the dough to rest for approximately 30 minutes.
Cooking :
- Add a little oil to the plates so that the waffles do not stick together and heat up the
appliance.
- Once the appliance is hot, pour the waffle batter.
- Close the appliance and cook for approximately 3 to 4 minutes.
