with skin or eyes. It is imperative that you
follow the manufacturer's instructions.
- The risk of an oxyhydrogen gas explosion
exists when wet cell batteries are being
charged. Such an explosion may result in
serious injury. The machine must be
opened when wet cell batteries are
charged. Empty the tank and lift up the
tank cover (E1).
- Never allow an open flame or hot objects
to come into proximity with the batteries.
Avoid sparking near the batteries.
- Observe strict no-smoking rules.
- Maintenance-free batteries must never be
opened.
- Distilled water must not be added to
maintenance-free batteries.
- Placing conductive objects (such as
metals) on the batteries is prohibited.
- When cleaning or maintaining the
machine, replacing parts or switching to
another function, switch off the drive and
pull out the main key switch. Pull the
emergency off plug (H). The machine
must be detached from the battery
charger connector and from any
connection with the power system.
- The machine must not be cleaned with
high-pressure or steam pressure cleaners
or with a liquid jet.
- Only original Wetrok replacement parts
may be used for repairs.
- Only original Wetrok accessories and
working parts may be used.
5.2 Maintenance schedule
Care and maintenance of the machine are
required to ensure proper functioning and a
long service life.
Daily:
- Empty and rinse out the fresh water tank
(F5).
- Clean the fresh water filter
- Empty and clean the filter basket (if the
level of soiling so requires, check also
during work and empty as needed)
- Empty the recovery tank (F2) completely
and rinse it out thoroughly with clean
water.
- Clean the foam sensors (F1)
- Leave the tank cover open when the
machine is not in use
- Remove the suction nozzle (B2). Clean
the suction channel and suction lips.
- Wipe the machine with a clean, slightly
damp cloth.
- Monitor and maintain batteries in
accordance with the manufacturer's
specifications.
Weekly:
- For conventional wet-cell batteries,
measure the acid density of all battery
cells. Monitor distilled water.
After 400 hours of operation:
34 / 74
All manuals and user guides at all-guides.com
- After approx. 400 hours of operation, the
suction motor's carbon brushes must be
checked and, if necessary, replaced.
5.3 Battery charging
Connect battery charger to battery charge
connector (H2), at the same time
disconnecting the emergency stop
connector (G1/H1) and connecting the
charger to the fixed portion of the battery
charge connector (H2).
Warning! See Safety instructions, Sec.
5.1.
NOTE:
- Follow the battery charger manufacturer's
operating instructions.
- A minimum of 12 hours is required to fully
charge a battery.
- Battery and battery charger are matched
to one another. We accept no liability if
battery chargers other than those
recommended by Wetrok are used.
- Do not recharge after brief periods of use.
(Allow at a minimum a 20% discharge
before recharging.)
- Recharge batteries from time to time if
they are not used for extended periods (to
prevent a deep discharge).
- The battery contacts should be covered to
prevent metal objects (such as tools) from
making a connection between them and
causing a short circuit.
5.4 Access to the batteries
- Use the main key switch key to unlock the
tank housing (E1).
- Then lift up the tank housing (E1) (see
Fig. E).
This will expose the important serviceable
components. The battery charge connector
(H2) for the batteries is accessible from the
outside.
NOTE:
Make sure that, before you lift up the tank
housing (E1), the tank has been emptied of
its contents (see Sec. 3.5).
If the machine is used over multiple
shifts, acquisition of a second battery
pack and battery-switching device is
recommended. The Wetrok customer
service department will be happy to
assist you further.
6. Troubleshooting and fault clearance
In order to be able to help you quickly in the
event of a problem, the Wetrok service
department needs your assistance. When
defects occur, it is recommended that you
get in touch with the Wetrok service
department immediately and, if possible,

level?
6.3 Inadequate cleaning performance:
- Are the cleaning elements worn?
- Is the brush pressure setting incorrect
(P2/P3)?
- Was the wrong cleaning element
selected?
- Was the wrong cleaning agent selected?

7. Service
All Wetrok machines have been factory-
tested for safety. For operating safety and
to preserve the value of the machine, the
machine should be serviced once a year or
after 400 hours of use. Servicing may be
performed only by the Wetrok service
department or by authorized professionals.
A Wetrok maintenance subscription is
available.
8. Storage, transport
When not in use, the machine must be
stored dry and under normal indoor
conditions. Both water tanks must be
emptied. Leave tank covers open. When
transported over longer distances, the
machine must be appropriately secured
and packed. The machine can be pushed
in a switched-off state if the release lever
