Care and maintenance
•
Always unplug the lead from the power point and let the fan heater cool down
properly before cleaning it.
•
Clean the fan heater using a lightly moistened cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents,
never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
•
Store the fan heater in a cool, dry place out of children's reach when not in use.
Overheating protection
•
The fan heater has a built-in thermal over-temperature protection device.
If the overtemperature protection is triggered, the fan heater is automatically
shut off. Once the fan heater has cooled, it will work again as normal.
•
The over-temperature protection device is reset by unplugging the fan heater from
the power socket. Wait for 5 to 10 minutes for the fan heater to cool before plug-
ging it in and using it again.
•
As an extra safety measure the fan heater is also fitted with a thermal fuse safety
cut-off.
•
This thermal fuse cannot be reset, so if it has blown the fan heater cannot be
reused and should be disbanded.
