The mode wheel

Turning the mode wheel lets you set 8 different shooting modes; the modes Adjusted scene
Program P , Shutter setting S , Aperture setting A , Manual exposure M , Panorama function
and Continuous shooting
In the scene mode S C N you can choose between diverse shooting types to achieve a better re-
sult for the desired scene.
The following functions are available:

Description
The camera analyses the shooting conditions
and automatically changes to the right scene
mode (see page 62).
The camera automatically selects the appropri-
ate settings, e.g. exposure time and f-stop values
This function enables you to set the f-stop value
(see page 63).
This function enables you to set the shutter
speed (see page 63).
With this function you can set the shutter speed
and the f-stop value (see page 64).
With this function you can shoot a panorama pic-
ture composed of up to 3 composite pictures
(see page 64).
With this function you can shoot a series of pic-
tures (see page 66).
For particular shooting situations or subjects,
you can select default shooting modes that use
a preprogrammed auto setting (see page 67).
