Please note that the ON/OFF push key only switch the appliance from status OFF to status ON and
from status ON to status OFF, but electricity is in the appliance until you will unplug the power cord
from the electrical socket.
Before any cleaning operation make sure to unplug your appliance.
9.2

Temperature setting and display visualization

• Clean the inside and outside of the appliance with water and a mild detergent before
putting any food in it.
• After the appliance has been levelled and cleaned, wait for at least 6 hours before
connecting it to the power supply. Make sure the socket meets the requirements and
connect it to an earthed socket outlet.
• Push the key C for 5 sec. to switch on the appliance. The dedicate green light and
the digit display will switch on too, indicating that the product is ON. The icon for the
alarm indicator (c) will light and the digit display will show "H" due to high temperature
inside. For the same reason the buzzer will beep: you can silence it pressing key B
and afterwards key C . When temperature will decrease, the display will show the
actual temperature inside. The ex-factory setting temperature is "05". If desired, you
can change these temperatures manually. Please see section 'Temperature setting and
display visualization".
• Press key C for 5 sec. to switch off the product.
• Load the appliance with food after it has been running for a while and the inside is
cool enough.
To set temperature push the key A. During temperature setting two numbers on display
show the point set in flashing mode. Additional pressing on this key modify the set-
point in cycling and decreasing mode from 08 to 02: it means that set-up 02 is the
coldest possible one, while set-up 08 is the warmest one. If any action is done on the set
point push key within 5 sec, or press key C, the set point is stored and the two numbers
on display will indicate the set-up.
5 ° C is the optimum temperature in the cooling area.
