Mount new components
■ Fix the control piston [16-7] using the
SATA universal spanner.
■ Insert the seal [16-6], washer [16-5]
and compression spring [16-4].
■ Push on the sleeve [16-3]. Pay at-
tention to the alignment of the groove
[16-10].
■ Position the washer [16-2].
■ Tighten the banjo screw [16-1].
■ Insert O-ring [16-8].
■ Tighten the hex socket screw [16-9].
■ Insert the control piston [15-8].
■ Insert the paint needle [15-7].
■ Position both springs [15-5], [15-6].
■ Screw on the end cap [15-4].
■ Position the spring [15-3].
■ Insert the washer [15-2] in the regu-
lating cap [15-1].
■ Screw on the regulating cap.
■ Readjust the parameters for material
flow using the scales (see chapter
9.2).
10.8. Replacing control pis-
ton seal retainer
Dismantle control piston seal retainer
■ Unscrew the regulating cap [17-1].
■ Remove washer [17-2] and spring
[17-3].
■ Unscrew the end cap [17-4].
■ Remove both springs [17-5], [17-6].
■ Remove paint needle [17-7].
■ Pull the control piston [17-8] out using
flat pliers.
■ Unscrew seal retainer (spanner size
19) [17-9].
■ Check parts for damage and soiling,
clean or replace if necessary.
Fit new control piston seal retainer
■ Screw in the seal retainer [17-9].
■ Insert the control piston [17-8].

■ Insert the paint needle [17-7].
■ Position both springs [17-5], [17-6].
■ Screw on the end cap [17-4].
■ Position the spring [17-3].
■ Insert the washer [17-2] in the regu-
lating cap [17-1].
■ Screw on the regulating cap.
■ Readjust the parameters for material
flow using the scales (see chapter
9.2).

11. Care and storage

Careful handling together with con-
stant maintenance and care of the
product is necessary to warrant the
functioning of the automatic gun.
Every time after use, always clean
the automatic gun, check its func-
tion and check for leaks.
After cleaning, dry the complete au-
tomatic gun with clean compressed
air.
Warning!
If cleaning work is performed
while the gun is still connected
to the compressed air circuit and
material supply, components can
unexpectedly work loose and
material can leak.
→ Disconnect the automatic gun
from the compressed air circuit
and the material supply before all
kinds of cleaning work.
