• Remove the packaging.
• Operate the device empty for 5 minutes in order to remove the protective
coating on the heating. This may result in the production of small quantities
of smoke and odours which disappear when the device has been used a few
times. Ensure suffi cient ventilation.
• We recommend that you clean the device as described under „Cleaning".
• Place the device on a heat-resistant surface.
• Please ensure that the on/off switch and the timer switch are turned to 0 (off)
or OFF.
• Connect the device to a properly installed 230 V, 50 Hz power socket.
• Switching on: Turn the device on by the on/off switch. The control lamplighter
and the heating rods begin to turn.
• Heating: Use the timer switch to turn on the heating. Select a cooking time on
the timer.
Preheat the device for approximately 3 minutes. During this time you can start
to warm the rolls on the skewers.
• Once the device has been preheated, place sausages between the heating
rods. The cooking time depends on the type of food to be cooked and the
degree to which it should be cooked, and should be determined on the basis of
experience.
• Please use wooden or Tefl on utensils to remove the cooked food in order not
to damage the non-stick coating.
Fat Collecting Pan
Please note! The dish must be inserted under the heating rods. This is where ex-
cess fat collects. When grilling you should check the contents regularly and empty
the pan when necessary.
Caution: The grill and the skewers are hot during use!
In order to switch the device off, turn the on/off switch and the timer switch to 0
(off) or OFF and then remove the plug from the socket.
