Cross Multiplex Mode
The cross multiplex mode is used:

To split the programmes of a transonder to several modulators.
•
To merge pogams of several transponders into one output channel.
Transmission capacities in the distribution networks can be optimized.
Change the Network ID to a value greater than zero.
Click on SAVE CHANGES.
The IDs of the transport streams TS ID1 to TS ID8[16] are automatically incremented by one to eight[16], the
cross multiplex mode is activated.
Important:
•
A splitted transponder works like two transponders.
•
If you use the cross multiplex mode in several headends, the Network IDs of the headends have to be
different.
