By purchasing the SilverCrest STS 850 E1 2-slice toaster, hereinafter referred to as the toaster, you have
opted for a quality product.
Before first using it, familiarise yourself with the way the toaster works and read these operating
instructions through carefully. Be careful to follow the safety instructions and only use the toaster as
described in the operating instructions and for the applications given.
Keep these operating instructions in a safe place. If you pass the toaster on to someone else, make sure to
give them all the relevant documents with it.

1. Intended use

This toaster is suitable exclusively for use indoors, in dry,
enclosed spaces.
The toaster is not for use in rooms with a high temperature or
humidity (e.g. bathrooms), and must be kept free of
excessive dust.
This toaster is intended for domestic and similar use, for example:
- in staff kitchens in shops, offices and other commercial premises;
- in country guest houses;
- by customers in hotels, motels and other accommodation facilities;
- in bed and breakfast establishments
This toaster is not intended for commercial use. It is for toasting slices of bread only.
Always make sure the toaster is on a stable surface.
The toaster is not designed to be operated with an external timer or a separate remote control system.
The toaster fulfils all relevant norms and standards associated with CE Conformity. Any modifications to
the device other than recommended changes by the manufacturer may result in these standards no longer
being met.
