Press SEARCH/AUDIO ON to return to the
normal display.

Press REC z.
Recording begins.
To return to the MAIN MENU screen from the
current menu
Press MENU again.
To go to the next menu from the current menu
Press MENU V until "NEXT PUSH B" flashes and
press MENU B.

Series Recording

Connect another SVT-S168P for series recording (for
details on connection, see page 10 (GB)) and set each
of the units as follows.

ALARM SET menu
Set the COUNTER/ 0:00:00
REAL TIME switch
to COUNTER.
Cassette tape Loaded

Security lock Locked
Timer recording Deactivated Deactivated Deactivated
When all of the settings are complete, set unit #1 in
recording mode and turn off the power of unit #2 and
subsequent unit.
When recording on unit #1 is complete, the power for
unit #2 turn on and recording begins.
The unit #1 rewinds its tape when the tape reaches the
end and turns off.
Note
For series recording, set SERIES REC in the ALARM SET
menu to ON. If it is set to OFF, recording cannot be done
even if a signal is input to the SERIES IN terminal.
