Installation instructions
To install the columns correctly, certain rules must be followed.
• Follow the installation instructions for the SB2XX and
SB4XX detectors.
• Take care to position the columns on a stable base.
• Make sure that no vegetation can mask the beams in any
season.
• Do not install receiver columns facing the directed or
reflected rays of the sun or alongside highly reflective
surfaces.
3.
Positioning and fixing the base
• Seal the 4 anchor legs in concrete, taking care to position them vertically using the
sealing guide supplied (typical dimensions of the concrete: 50x50 cm, 60 cm deep,
depending on the nature of the soil).
• Do not forget to let the cable conduits out through the central hole.
• Fix the base to the ground on the 4 sealed anchor legs.
• Before fixing the base, make sure it will be in line with the beams.
• The plate holding the base packaging acts as a sealing guide.

Mounting the transmitter and receiver modules in the column
Distribution of the number of beams by height of column:
5 heights of column are available (1 m, 1.5 m, 2 m, 2.5 m, 3 m), for between 2 and 16
beams in each direction.
The following table gives the combinations of SB2XX and SB4XX modules that can be
placed one above the other to give the maximum number of beams for each direction and
for each column height:
