Connection to the mains water supply

The connection must comply with the recommendations
provided.
1) The mains water supply must have a flow rate twice
the electric pump's rated flow rate and a pressure of
2 - 3 bar.

E) Pressure damper
F) Safety valve
G) Drain line
H) Nozzle
L) Gate valve
If the electric pump is equipped with
a pressure regulating valve (M), see
"Connection of the electric pump with
regulating valve to the water supply".

Connection to a tank

The following is a simplified illustration of
the layout for connection to a tank.
A) Tank
B) Intake filter
C) Electric pump
D) Pressure gauge
E) Pressure damper
F) Safety valve
G) Drain line
H) Nozzle
L) Gate valve
If the electric pump is equipped with
a pressure regulating valve (M), see
"Connection of the electric pump with
regulating valve to the water supply".
The connection must comply with the recommendations

1) The tank must have baffles to prevent water splashes
and its capacity must be at least 10 times greater than
the electric pump's rated flow rate.

2) The vacuum measured directly at the electric pump
intake port must not exceed -0.1 bar and the water
temperature must not be above 40°C.
