INT The camera is synchronized internally.
This is the default setting if only the picture of
this camera is viewed on the connected moni-
tor. Go to the next menu line with the button
LL:000 The camera is synchronized by the
mains voltage (line lock). Thus, the picture sig-
nals of several cameras can be synchronized
so that a disturbing picture rolling on the moni-
tor is prevented when switching between differ-
ent camera signals. If required, the phase be-
tween the mains voltage and the synchroniza-
tion may be displaced between 0° and 300°:

a) After selecting the adjustment LL:000,
"LL" flashes. Select the first zero with the
button
b) Coarsely adjust the phase in steps of hun-
dreds with the button
c) Repeat the procedure for the tens digit and
units digit for fine adjustment.

6) BLC backlight compensation
X
It serves to brighten up objects in the backlight.
Press the button Enter so many times until the
desired adjustment is displayed:
OFF no backlight compensation
BLC1 objects in the central picture area are
brightened up, shown by the inserted white
field on the monitor.
BLC2 objects in the lower central picture
area are brightened up.
BLC3 objects in the lower half of the picture
are brightened up.
BLC4 objects in the upper half of the picture
are brightened up.
USER SET The picture area in which objects
are to be brightened up can be defined by
yourself:
a) Select the menu item SET with the button
b) Press the button Enter. A small white field
appears in the centre of the screen and the
request SET START POINT flashes.
c) With the cursor buttons
move the white field to one corner of the
area to be brightened up.
d) Press the button Enter. The request SET
END POINT flashes. Enlarge the white field
with the cursor buttons to the desired size.
e) Press the button Enter.

7) WHITE BAL white balance
Different light sources, like incandescent lamps,
fluorescent lamps, or the sun, have light of different
colour (colour temperature). To obtain a natural
colour reproduction, the camera may be adjusted
accordingly. Press the button Enter so many times
until the desired adjusting method is displayed:
ATW1 The camera automatically adjusts it-
self to the correct colour temperature between
2600 K and 6000 K.
