In order to attach the ear pads, thread the ends of the open chin
strap through the tabs on the ear pads, and insert the tab into the hel-
met slit (figure E). Please pay attention to the left and right markings
(L/R) on the corresponding ear pads. When you remove the ear pad-
ding, please ensure that there is no tension exercised on the loops in
order to prevent them from being damaged.
Safety instructions
• T he helmet must fit securely and the chin strap must be firmly
closed.
• D o not tip the helmet back as this will leave your forehead unpro-
tected. The straps must be positioned over the jaw bones (Fig. B).
• D o not wear any head covering under the helmet.
• E nsure that the airflow inside the helmet is not restricted.
• D o not make any changes to the helmet, its structure or the
individual components.
• D o not paint the helmet or put stickers or labels on it.
• T he helmet is intended to protect your head in the event of an im-
pact. After just one (even light) impact this protection is no longer
guaranteed. Discontinue using the helmet after an impact or colli-
sion, rendered unusable and disposed of, even if there is no visible
damage.
• T he lifespan of the helmet depends on its use. However the helmet
should be changed five years after the date of manufacture at the
latest.
