Smart
IN
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The "Smart IN" is a parking cooler system and allows
for full integration with the vehicle's O.E. system;
consequently, the cabin aesthetics is not compromised
and the use of the hatch is not blocked.
The airflow exploits the original vents of the vehicle,
without using ducts or channels which would alter the
aesthetics and spaces inside the cabin.
"Smart IN" is silent because the vehicle's O.E. fan is used
and the electric compressor is in a remote position.
"Smart IN" is a real air-conditioning system, meaning that
it provides cold, dehumidified air which translates into
satisfactory and refreshing rest, making ongoing travel
safer.
As regards safety, using the air recirculation system wards
off any possibility of introduction of chemical agents
through the vehicle's air vents from outside by those with
malicious intent.
All the operations of the user-friendly system can be easily
managed using the control panel and the remote control.
"Smart IN" is respectful of the environment because it
works with the vehicle's O.E. coolant with 100% respect
for the legislation in force.

SPECIFIC NOTES
The "Smart IN" is a parking cooler system which operates
only when the vehicle engine is switched of and cannot
be activated when the vehicle is moving.
Before activating the "Smart IN" and before switching
off the vehicle engine, perform the following procedure
to gain the full benefits of the system: engage the
recirculation function, open the vents and programme
the air distribution with the flow aimed towards the
driver.
Slightly open the hatch to let out the hot air that
accumulates in the upper part of the cabin.
To protect the vehicle battery, the operation of the "Smart
IN" lasts a maximum of 6 consecutive hours in standard
mode and of 2 consecutive hours in MAX AC mode.
The "Smart IN" always starts in standard mode (even
when it was in MAX AC mode when it was switched off);
ventilation always starts in AUTO (automatic) mode,
while the set-point (i.e. the programmed temperature)
remains that programmed before it was last switched off.
The "Smart IN" is managed using the control panel or
remote control, which takes care of the main functions
(no TIMER function).
