Outputs
The Exp 24 has 2 optically isolated digital outputs. These outputs are sourcing only, they provide a
positive voltage when on. Each output can be assigned to any of the internal output functions with
Expert Software. (see software manual). Each output is driven by a smart high side driver rated at 100
mA continuous, short circuit protection at 500 mA as well as over temperature protected. If the load
exceeds 500ma the output turns off to protect itself, the turns back on, if the short persists the output
will continue to cycle on and off rapidly.
The digital outputs are isolated from the main supply voltage and PE.
