This sprayer has been designed for use with liquid solutions of
garden/agricultural chemicals. Please read this leaflet before
use, then store it in a safe place for future reference.

Right handed spray operation
•
Release the pump cap (item 4), pull out the complete Pump
Assembly (item 1)and then clip on the Agitator (item 5) as
shown in Fig 3. Then re-assemble as illustrated.

Slide the Pivot Rod (item 6) into the base aperture on the
same side as the Pump Assembly. Fit the rod in place using
a large washer and 'R' clip as Fig 4.

Fit a second large washer over the exposed Pivot Rod as Fig
5. Then locate the upper end of the Link Rod (item 7)
through the aperture in the top of the pump, retain using
a smaller washer and 'R' clip.

Slide the Pump Handle (item 8) over both the pivot rod and
link rod, retain using the remaining washers and 'R' clips as
Fig 5.

Fit the top harness strap through the anchor point on the
top of the tank, and retain by passing a toggle through the
loop in the end of the strap, as Fig 6.Retain the side straps
to the bracket as shown in Fig 6.

Ensure both caps are fully tightened by hand before use
(items 3 & 4).
Left handed spray operation
The sprayer has been partially assembled for right handed
but can easily be converted for left handed operation by
reversing the position of the Pump Assembly and Filling
Assembly as shown in Fig 2. Follow the standard assembly
procedure as shown in Figs 3,4 and 5 so that the Pump
Handle is now positioned on the right hand and the Spray
Lance on the left hand of the container.

Fit the Retaining Nut (item 9) on to the Lance Tube (item
10) and slide into the front aperture of the Lance Handle
(item 11), and secure by tightening the nut. Refer to Fig 7.
Fit the Angled Spray Head (item 12) on to the lance tube
and tighten the securing nut by hand.
Fit one of the two Hose Nuts (item 13) with the threaded
aperture facing the Lance Handle on to the Hose and
secure.
Fit the other Hose Nut to the other end of the hose and
attach to the outlet on the Pump Cylinder (item 15). Fully
tighten the Hose Nuts by hand.
Finally, install the lance holders Fig 8. Fold the holders
around the Link Rod (item 7) and tighten the screws.
This sprayer is intended for water solutions of proprietary
insecticides, fungicides, weed-killers and foliar feeds.
Follow these instructions carefully.
Observe safety advice issued by the chemical supplier.
Wear protective goggles, gloves and mask.
Do not inhale spray mist
Avoid skin contact with chemical sprays.
Work in a well-ventilated area.
Take care to protect children, pets and fish from exposure
to chemicals.
Seek medical attention if chemicals get into your eyes, or if
you develop any symptoms after use.
Wash hands thoroughly after using the sprayer, especially
before eating.
Wash contaminated clothing.
Do not spray over food or food preparations.
When spraying crops, follow the chemical manufacturers'
advice on how soon you can pick and eat the crops after
spraying .
Do not spray any solvent based material such as white
spirit.
Mix the chemical prior to use in a separate container, and
always fill the sprayer
After use with chemicals, discard any unused solution
safely, and thoroughly clean the sprayer by spraying a little
detergent and warm (not hot ) water. Repeat the spraying
using clean cold water.
Before and after use ensure all connections are tight,
replacing any worn parts.
Never fill the sprayer with hot liquids, (Max. 30°C)
Powdered chemical can be used, providing it is fully
soluble. The sprayer has a built-in agitator paddle.
NOTE: Your sprayer is manufactured from many different
types of plastic material, and although the liquid you may
wish to use may be packed in plastic, this is not a
guarantee that it will not damage the sprayer. If you are in
any doubt about any material you intend to spray, we
recommend you write to our Consumer Services
Department at the address given to check its suitability.
Occasionally, the pump will require lubrication. First
depressurize the system by squeezing the trigger. Then,
remove the 'R' Clips and Washers from the top and bottom
of the Link Rod (item 7). Remove the Link Rod (item 7).
Keep the Pump Handle in place. Unscrew the Pump Cap
(item 4) but do not remove. Pull out the Pump Assembly by
pulling out the Piston from the Pump Sleeve. Slide the
Pump Cap (item 4) to one side to expose three seals. Apply
silicone grease and then re-assemble.
The Lance Handle (item11) can be dismantled to clean or
lubricate the Filter (item 23) by unscrewing the rear body
of the assembly Fig 9. Take care not to lose the valve
