WARNING!
Functional test
The functional test must be performed prior to each surgery.
Make sure the device is at the same height as the instrument. A difference in Before surgery
height affects the pressure readings due to hydrostatic pressure.
CAUTION!
The surgeon has to select an irrigation fluid suitable for the application and med-
ical procedure.
1. Select the desired nominal pressure and the max. flow.
2. Press the Start/Stop key (the rotation symbol is depicted on the function dis-
play).
3. Make sure tubing and instrument are completely filled with fluid.
4. Insert instrument into joint.
5. Open the valve on the instrument.
The device adjusts the unfolding state of the joint according to the preset nomi-
nal pressure and max. flow. The flow is automatically reduced once the nominal
pressure has been reached.
