The appliance may only be set up and connected by
an accredited installation specialist in line with the
installation instructions pertaining to the appliance.
Transport
Transport the appliance in its packaged state.
D
Transport the appliance in an upright position.

Installation location
The ideal installation location is a dry, well ventilated
room. The installation location should not be subject to
direct sunlight or near a heat source such as a cooker,
heating element, etc. If setting up the appliance next to
a heat source is unavoidable, use a suitable insulating
plate or observe the following minimum distances from
the heat source:
From electric cookers 3 cm.
D
From oil or coal range cookers 30 cm.
D
Note the room temperature and ventilation
The climate class is specified on the rating plate.
It indicates the room temperature range in which the
appliance can be operated.
Climate class
Permissible room temperature
+10 °C to 32 °C
SN
+16 °C to 32 °C
N
+16 °C to 38 °C
ST
+16 °C to 43 °C
T
If the appliance is set up in very humid conditions,
condensation may form on the outside of the appliance.
Always make sure that the installation location is well
ventilated.
Ventilation
Never cover the ventilation openings on the front of the
base panel. The refrigerating unit then has to work
harder, which increases power consumption.
Electrical connection
The socket for connecting the appliance must be freely
accessible. Connect the appliance to a correctly
installed socket providing 220 240 V / 50 Hz
alternating current. The socket must be protected by a
fuse with a rating of 10 A to 16 A.
Do not use any extension cables or distributors.
A permanently installed socket is required for connecting
this appliance to the mains.
In the case of appliances operated outside Europe,
check whether the voltage and type of current
specified on the rating plate conform to the values of
your electricity grid. The rating plate is at the bottom
left inside the appliance. If the power cord needs to
be replaced, this must be carried out only by an
expert.
!
Warning!
The appliance must not be connected to an
electronic energy saving plug or an inverter that
converts direct current to 230 V alternating current
(e.g. solar energy systems, boat electrical systems).
