Creating a configuration list
The configuration described in this section refers to the example from Fig. 7.
1. In your PLC configuration software, open the window that displays the configuration and the
window that contains the modules.
Both windows can be found in the "Slots" tab in the "TwinCAT" program.
In "TwinCAT", the term "slots" corresponds with modules and should not be confused
with M1 slots.
In the "Slots" tab, the window to the right lists all available modules. The designation used in the PLC
configuration key is stated in parentheses after the module designations.
Only one module (M1) can be added on the valve side. A "4 byte valve unit (0x1D)" is automatically
added in the default setting if the user data length of the valve side is maximum 4 bytes. Otherwise
a "32 byte valve unit (0x7F)" is added.
If you do not connect any valves, you must add the "valve blanking unit".
2. Select the terminal to which the desired module should be added in the left window of the "Slots"
tab.
3. In the right window of the "Slots" tab, use your mouse to select modules and add them to the left
window in the correct sequence using the arrow button.
