[Setting - Function] Screen

Touch the [Function] tab to open the [Setting - Function]
screen used to make reading and printing image data
settings.
[Workflow] button
You can select whether you want the unit to simply read
the image data to be printed from the media, or whether
you want to select the images to be printed after all the
image data is read from the media. Touch this button to
toggle the setting [ON] (only reads the image data to be
printed) or [OFF] (reads all the image data).
[Auto (Color)] button
When this setting is [ON], automatically adjusts the
colors of the image to obtain the optimum print quality.
Further, when Exif (Exchangeable Image File Format)
image data is read, the unit uses the Exif information
recorded with the image data to automatically adjust the
color of the image. Touch this button to toggle the
setting [ON] (automatic color correction enabled) or
[OFF] (automatic color correction disabled).
Note
This setting is only used when stored image data is
printed.
[DPOF] button
If you insert a media captured using a DPOF (Digital
Print Order Format)-compatible digital camera into the
unit when this setting is [ON] and display the screen
enabling you to specify the images for output, all images
previously specified for output are selected. Touch this
button to toggle the setting [ON] (the unit uses DPOF
information) or [OFF] (the unit does not use DPOF
information).
[Edit picture] button
Touch this button to display the [Setting - Function - Edit
picture] screen and make image editing function
settings.
• [ON/OFF] button
When this setting is [ON], you can use the image
editing functions in the screen where you specify the
number of copies to be printed. Touch this button to
toggle the setting [ON] (image editing functions
enabled) or [OFF] (image editing functions disabled).
• [Date Stamp] button
Touch this button to make Exif image data date
stamping function settings.
– [ON/OFF] button
Sets whether data stamping can be used in the image
editing screen. Touch this button to toggle the
setting [ON] (date stamping enabled) or [OFF] (date
stamping disabled).
– [YYYYMMDD], [DDMMYYYY],
[MonthDDYY], and [MMDDYYYY] buttons
Touch the button for the date format that you want to
select it. For example:
Format September 15, 2002
YYYYMMDD 2002/09/15
DDMMYYYY 15/09/2002
MMDDYYYY 09/15/2002
• [Sepia B/W], [Input Text], [Remove Redeye], and
[Color Adjust] buttons
You can set whether you want to use these image
editing functions. Touch the various buttons to toggle
the setting [ON] (function enabled) or [OFF] (function
disabled).
