In playback mode, by pressing the left and right
sides of the screen, you can go forwards and
backwards through the saved files.
In video or camera mode, pressing on the top
of the screen zooms in on the image. Pressing
on the bottom of the screen zooms out on the
image.
3. Functions
Before beginning, insert the CD and the following
window will appear:
Go to "Driver Installation" and install the
executable file:
The PC is now ready to recognise the camera.
Switch it on by pressing ON. Pressing the MODE
buttons, you get the 5 main modes:
- Video recording
- Camera
- Voice recorder
- Motion detection recording
- Playing files
This icon shows the battery status in all
modes.
4. Video Recording Mode
Insert a Micro-SD card. Press ON and this
screen will appear:
Icons:
- Remaining recording time.
Functions of the keys:
- MODE: change modes.
- Press the top part of the screen to zoom in on
the image (digital zoom).
- STOP/REC: begin recording.
- Press the left part of the screen to switch it off.
The system will continue in video mode; all
functions remain the same. Press it again to
reactivate the screen.
- Important: if there is no action for more than two
minutes, the system switches off automatically
to save power. Press STOP/REC to switch it
on.
- Press STOP/REC to begin recording. The clock
in the top part will turn red and start measuring
the recording time.
- To stop recording, press STOP/REC again.
Back in Display Mode, the video is saved in
*.AVI format.
5. Camera Mode
Press MODE to access Camera Mode, and this
screen will appear:
Functions of the keys in Camera Mode:
- MODE: change modes; press UP for digital
zoom; press STOP/REC to take a photo.
Important: if you press MODE to access
Camera Mode during recording, the system will
automatically save the video.
If there is no action for more than two minutes,
the system switches off automatically to save
energy. Press STOP/REC to switch it on.
To take a photograph, press STOP/REC and it
will be automatically saved in *.JPG format.
6. Voice Recording Mode
This device features synchronised video and
audio recording, and it also has the function to
record voice separately, without video.

The figures at the top indicate the time available
on the memory card.
Functions of the keys in Recording Mode:
- Press STOP/REC to record. The screen will
display moving red figures at the top, which
indicate the time it has been recording.
Pressing STOP/REC during the recording
will stop it, and the voice will automatically be
saved in *.WAV format.
- Pressing and holding STOP/REC switches
off the screen. At this point, the system is still
in Video Display Mode; all functions remain
the same. - Pressing and holding STOP/REC
switches the screen back on.
- Important: If there is no action for more than two
minutes, the system switches off automatically
to save energy. Press STOP/REC to switch it
on.
7. Motion detection recording
When this mode is selected the following screen
will appear:
The numbers at the top indicate how much can
be recorded on the memory card.
Functions of the keys in this mode:
- Press and hold STOP/REC to switch off the
screen. At this point, the system is still in Video
Display Mode; all functions remain the same.
Pressing and holding STOP/REC will switch
the screen back on in the mode it was in when
switched off.
If you press STOP/REC in this mode it will not
work; the system will automatically detect the
visibility conditions. If there is no action, the
system will pause. If there is action (including
movements of objects or light changes), the
system will record until the images stand still for
20 seconds and will save the file. At this point, if
there is movement it will begin recording again.
To exit this mode, press MODE while recording;
the system will automatically save the files.
8. Browse and Playback Mode
In this mode, you can browse saved pictures and
videos by pressing the sides of the camera.
Press STOP/REC to play back and press it
again to stop; DOWN to exit playback. RIGHT
to change the playback speed; there are four
different options: >>1X, >>2X, >>4X, >>8X;
LEFT to switch to reverse play, also with four
options: <<1X, <<2X, <<4X, <<8X.
When playing back video files, if you press LEFT
the "Delete file?" confirmation will appear. Press
"Yes" to delete and "No" to cancel.
Meaning of each symbol in this mode:
>>1X, >>2X indicate speed; the numbers at
the top indicate the duration of the file; the blue
arrow and the recorder marks in the top right
corner indicate that it is a video file. The white
numbers in the lower left corner indicate the file
number.
