remains in the float position when the lever is moved down. Raise the lever to lift
the power lift to the desired position.
The 3rd point hitch must NOT be used to tow implements.
4.9 CONTROLLED POSITION AND DRAFT LIFTS
(Optional)
The tractor can be equipped with a controlled position or controlled draft lift.
The operations described below apply to both kinds of lifts unless otherwise
specified.
Possible functions are:
• Raise and lower with floating action.
• Controlled position.
• Controlled draft (only for controlled draft models).
• Combined operation (only for controlled draft models).
The information and controls described here refer to fig.9 where:
- P Controlled position potentiometer
- S Controlled draft potentiometer
- A Lift control lever
4.9.1 Raise - lower with floating operation
The use of the floating mode releases the lift links complete and thus allows the
implement to follow the ground contour. It is usually used for ridging, cultivating
and for all implements that have to follow the ground contour.
Controls:
- P turn completely to the minus (-) position.
- S turn completely to the minus (-) position.
- A:
Position 0 - lever in the middle position. The lift is its neutral position. The
implement stays at the position it is in.
Position 1 - lever forward. The implement lowers until it touches the ground.
In this position the implement touches the ground and follows the contour
line.
Position 2 - Lever back. The implement will raise as long as the lever is
pulled. Once the maximum height has been reached, a limit switch will stop
lift movement. When the lever is released, it will automatically reset to its
neutral position 0.
