How to fix the sets of inserts on the press
Putting the sets of inserts in place is a simple and fast operation.

Open the head by raising the mobile part (3).

The mobile lower part (4) goes down automatically.
Caution:
The mobile lower part (4) goes down rapidly; make sure your fingers are not caught.

Slide the set of inserts in the notches (5).
A spring-ball enables the insert to be locked into position.
How to remove sets of inserts

Open the head by raising the mobile part (3) of the head.

The mobile lower part (4) goes down automatically.
Caution:
The mobile lower part (4) goes down rapidly; make sure your fingers are not caught.

Push the inserts out of the notches (5).

Positioning of the connection

Select the set of inserts.

Fix the inserts on the pressing press. See the section "How to fix the set of inserts" .

Select the connection suited to the tube for pressing.

Insert the connection on the tube.

Inserting the connection in the clamp and pressing


Open the clamp by raising the mobile part (3).

Slide the connection for pressing on the profile of the clamp while keeping the clamp open.

Check that the connection is positioned at the right place on the profile.

Close the head.

Pump using the advancing trigger (7).

After a few pump actions the press clicks; this indicates the end of pressing.

Press the return trigger (6).
Removing the clamp connection

Open the head by raising the upper mobile part (3).

Remove the clamp from the connection.

Maintenance

Maintaining the inserts


Regularly check that the inserts are in good condition.

Clean the inserts using a dry rag or a metal brush.
