8.3. Normal Operation

Switch LED lamp on and off
Notice!
Depending on the ambient temperature, the maximum operating time
of the LED lamp is about 60 – 70 minutes. The battery then has to be
charged again. When the battery is completely discharged, charging
takes about 50 minutes.
■ Press button [1-4] and switch the LED lamp on.
■ Use the fully variable dimmer with detent function [1-2] to adjust the
required brightness.
■ When no longer needed, press the button again and switch the LED
lamp off.
Check battery charge status
■ Press the Bat.Info button [1-12] on the back of the battery. The number
of LEDs that light up indicate the current charge state of the battery.

9. Care and storage

Careful handling together with constant care of the product is necessary
to warrant the functioning of the LED lamp.

10. Maintenance and repairs

■ Keep the LED lamp, battery and charger in a dry place.
■ Check the LED lamp for damage every time after use, repair if neces-
sary.
10.1. Replace protective screen with impact protection
■ Pull the impact protection [2-1] off the LED lamp [2-3] to the front.
■ Remove the protective screen [2-2].
■ Insert a new protective screen in the impact protection.
■ Position the impact protection with screen on the LED lamp applying
gentle pressure until it locks in position.

11. Malfunctions

If it is not possible to remedy a malfunction with the described corrective
actions, send the LED lamp to the SATA customer service department
