8.2. Charging the battery

Information!
If the charger or battery / battery is defective, please contact the SATA
Service Department (See Chap. 15 for address).
The battery voltage and temperature will be checked during the charg-
ing process. LED [1-12] provides information about the current battery
charge status.
LED [1-13] indicates when charging is ready as well as shows any poten-
tial fault in the charger.
Charging process
■ Connect plug [1-9] / [1-10] / [1-11] to power the charger. Check the
LED [1-13] indicator mode (see the table below).
■ Remove battery [1-7] from LED lamp by pressing on release [1-6] and
releasing the battery.
■ Slide battery into compartment [1-8] of charger.
■ Remove battery from charger after it is fully charged (see table below).
■ Insert battery into LED lamp by pressing battery release.
