12. Using the grater and cutting
disc
Application area:
The coarse grater and cutting disc 5 and the fine grater
and cutting disc 6 are suitable for grating and cutting slic-
es of vegetables, fruit, potatoes and cheese. Both sides of
these discs can be used. On the one side for grating and
on the other side for cutting slices.
Both discs are marked with a pattern for orientation.

WARNING! Risk of material damage!
Do not exert too much pressure on the grater or cutting
disc 6/5. Apply an even pressure so that the motor
does not become blocked.

WARNING! Risk of material damage!
Do not operate the device continuously with the grater
and cutting disc 6 or 5 in place for more than
2 minutes. After this, the device must remain switched
off until it has cooled down to room temperature.

And this is how it works:

1.
Position the working container 10 on the base
unit 14. Turn the working container slightly in a
clockwise direction until it is heard to lock into place.

Place the axle 18 into the working container 10.
3.
Position the grater and cutting disc 6 or 5 on the axle
in such a way that the tool with which you want to
work is positioned on top.
Cutting
4.
Place the lid 4 with the food pushers 1, 2, 3 onto the
working container 10. Turn the lid slightly in a clock-
wise direction until it is heard to lock into place.
5.
Connect the mains plug 11 to a wall socket.
6.
Remove the midi food pusher 2 and fill the prepared
ingredients into the food chute.
7.
Turn the dial 13 to position 1 (grating) or 2 (cutting)
and use the midi food pusher 2 to press the ingredi-
ents down with a light, even pressure. Ingredients
with a long shape, such as carrots, courgettes, cu-
cumbers can be pressed downward without a food
pusher if they protrude from the top of the food chute.

Stop (dial 13 in the position 0) before all of the in-

gredients in the food chute are processed so that you

can fill in more ingredients.
9.
Process all ingredients portion by portion. Empty the
2
working container 10 from time to time if it is filled
2
up to the MAX mark.
10. When the process is completed, switch the dial 13 to
0 and pull out the mains plug 11.
11. Turn the lid 4 slightly in an anticlockwise direction
and remove it.

12. Turn the working container 10 slightly in an anti-
clockwise direction and remove it.

13. Hold the axle 18 at the top end and lift it out with the
grater and cutting disc 6 or 5.
14. Remove the processed ingredients from the working
container 10.
15. Clean all of the accessories that have been used im-
mediately if possible.
