7. Battery
• To replace the battery, slide away the battery cover on the back of the scale.
• Replace the old battery with 2 new AAA size batteries (LR03C). Make sure to
use the correct polarity.
• Close the battery compartment by sliding the battery cover back in place.
• Remove the battery when the device is not in use for a long time.
• Do not recharge batteries and do not throw in fire as they may explode.
WARNING: handle batteries with care, observe warnings on
battery casing. Dispose of batteries in accordance with local
regulations.
Keep the battery away from children.
