Foreword
Thank you for purchasing the Ibanez IFS4X/IFS2X footswitch. Read
this manual thoroughly prior to using your amplifier in order to get
the most out of the functions available. Ensure that this manual is
also stored.
Features
The IFS4X and IFS2X are footswitches that use a stereo 1/4" phone
plug, and provide latched-type switch operation. They can be used
with IBANEZ Tone Blaster X series guitar amps and Troubadour
series acoustic amps, as well as with other equipment that pro-
vides a 1/4" external footswitch jack.
The foot switch may be used with the following Ibanez products
(as of September 2006):
IFS4X: TBX150R IFS2X: TBX30R
TBX150H
If you need detailed information on product compatibility, please
refer to the most recent catalog for the product you wish to use.
These footswitches cannot be used with the discontinued models
TB100R, TB100H, or TB50R. For those models, please use the
IFS4 or IFS2 that was included.

Precautions during use

• Do not subject the amplifier to shocks by dropping, etc., or treat it
roughly in any way.
• Place the switch in a stable location and press it with your foot at
an angle (do not step down on it from above).
• In order to prevent the finish from changing color, do not use or
store the foot switch in locations where it is subject to direct sun-
light or in environments that experience dramatic fluctuations in
temperature and humidity levels.
