Taking a call
When the phone rings, pick up the receiver and take the call.
Ending a call (on−hook)
Replace the receiver to end the call.
Making a call
Pick up the receiver. Wait until you hear the dialling tone. Dial the
required telephone number using the digit keys (6).
Redialling
Your telephone stores the last phone number dialled. To redial the last
number dialled, pick up the receiver and wait until you hear the dialling
tone. Press the REDIAL button (10). The last phone number dialled is
automatically redialled.
Microphone muting function
Press the STORE/MUTE button (12) during a call to switch off the
microphone. Press the button again to deactivate the muting function
and continue the call.
Flash button on private branch exchanges
If the telephone is connected to a private branch exchange, functions
such as transferring calls and automatic call back can be used via the
FLASH button (13). Please refer to the manual supplied with your
private branch exchange. The sales outlet where you purchased the
exchange can provide information as to whether the telephone will
work properly with the exchange.
Setting the ringing tone
There are 3 different ringing tones available for selection, each with
3 volume settings. Pick up the receiver, press the STORE/MUTE
button (12) and then the Hash button (7). Press the required digit
key 1−9 to set the required setting. Use the digit key 0 to switch the
ringing tone off.
