The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicates that the item should
be disposed of separately from household waste. The item should
be handed in for recycling in accordance with local environmental
regulations for waste disposal. By separating a marked item from
household waste, you will help reduce the volume of waste sent to
incinerators or land-fill and minimize any potential negative impact
on human health and the environment.

Warning
To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock or injury when using your
air conditioner, follow these basic precautions:
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
• This appliance shall be installed in accordance with national wiring
regulations.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or its service agent, or similarly qualified person, in
order to avoid a hazard.
• Ensure that the fan is switched off from the supply mains before
removing the guard.
• Unplug the appliance during filling and cleaning.
• Plug into a grounded 3 prong outlet.
• Do not remove ground prong.
• Do not use an extension cord.
• Unplug air conditioner before servicing.
• Use two or more people to move and install air conditioner.
• The device must be protected from frost, Residual condensation
water can freeze and cause damage.
• Avoid the intake of warm external air.
• Shield against or avoid solar radiation entering through windows.
• Shut down unneeded heat sources such as lamps, printers, copiers
etc.
• Before starting to use the device it must be allowed to stand
upright for some time, so that cooling liquid and oil can flow to
the compressor. The required time is 2 hours. Disregarding this
waiting period leads to irreparable damage to the compressor (i.e.
total loss/write off).
