Solder the connection cable of the lens – according to
GB
the pin configuration of the jack for the respectively
used lens type – to the plug, and connect the plug to the
jack.
5 Mounting
The camera can be mounted on a camera stand, on a
pan/tilt head (e. g. MONACOR VPT-69) or onto a
camera support (e. g. a support of the MONACOR TVH
series). For fixing, the camera is provided with an a-
dapter (5) with a thread jack [thread 6.3 mm (
bottom side. The adapter can alternatively be screwed
to the top side of the camera for suspended mounting.
6 Connection
1) Connect the BNC jack "VIDEO" (12) via a 75 Ω cable
(e. g. MONACOR VEC-62/10) to the video input of
the following unit (e. g. monitor, camera switcher,
video splitter).
2) For the power supply connect an electronically regu-
lated 12 V power supply unit, e. g. MONACOR PS-
362ST, to the low voltage jack (9). A plug 5.5/2.1 mm
(outside/inside diameter) is required. The positive
pole must be at the centre contact.

7 Setting into Operation
After applying the 12 V supply voltage, the camera is
ready for operation.
1) Adjust the distance at the lens. In case of a lens with
manually adjustable iris adjust the iris for optimum
image reproduction (depth of focus and brightness).
2) If the picture is not clear with correctly adjusted
distance, correct the mechanical focus setting for
the lens. For this purpose, release the two hexagon
head screws (4) with the supplied hexagonal key.
Adjust a clear picture by turning the thread ring (3).

Then tighten the screws again.
3) When using a lens with automatic iris control, cor-
rect the video signal level for the iris control if the
picture is reproduced too dark or too bright:
If a DC voltage controlled lens is used, adjust the
optimum video level by turning the control "LEVEL"
(10) with a small screw driver.
For video signal controlled lenses the level con-
trol for the video signal is located at the lens.
7.1 Automatic electronic shutter
When using a lens with manual iris adjustment, set the
switch "ELC" (8) to "ON". In this position the automatic
electronic shutter is switched on: the exposure time is
automatically adjusted to the momentary brightness.
The camera operates with exposure times from
