Fault indication
5.4.1
Position "0": Operation basic setting
1. Set the encoding switch to position "0" and press
the Enter button.
The LEDs briefly go out whilst pressing the button
and light in green when it is released.
2. Both lifting carriages move upwards on pressing the
"Lift" ("Heben") button; both LEDs light in red.
3. Both lifting carriages move downwards on pressing
the "Lower" ("Senken") button; both LEDs light in
orange.
Possible faults: See Table 5.
Problem
Both LEDs light (red).
Simultaneous orange/green flashing of
both LEDs.
Alternating red/green flashing of one or
both LEDs.
Red flashing of one or both LEDs.
Orange flashing of one or both LEDs.
Both motors come to an abrupt halt on
moving downwards, however the LEDs
remain lit (orange).
The alarm generator sounds on moving
downwards.
One of the motors briefly stops during
movement, the corresponding LED lights
(green).
Red flashing of one or both LEDs and the
alarm generator sounds.
Orange flashing of one or both LEDs and
the alarm generator sounds.
Alternating orange/red flashing of both
LEDs and the alarm generator sounds.
Alarm generator sounds briefly (3x) after
switch-on.
LED1 off, LED2 lights (red).
Alternating orange/green flashing of both
LEDs.

Robert Bosch GmbH
Cause
Fault in EEPROM.
The control system must be initialised.
Speed below minimum.
Upper end stop of corresponding column
reached.
Lower end stop of corresponding column
reached.
Stopping point reached.
Height below stopping point.
Control system re-synchronising columns. This action is normal.
Overshoot beyond upper end stop of
corresponding column.
Overshoot beyond lower end stop of
corresponding column.
Exceeding of maximum permissible
misalignment between the columns.
Incorrect setting of internal real time
clock.
Program memory defective.
Parameters not in sequence "Lower
end value < Stopping point < Upper end
value".

Remedy
The parameters must be reset by means
of jumper and the control system then
re-calibrated. If this does not solve the
problem, the control system must be
replaced.
Set the encoding switch to position "8" and
perform calibration.
Switch control system off/on. Check the
mechanical system if the fault persists.
The column can then only be lowered.
The column can then only be raised.
Release buttons and press again.
It is normal for the alarm generator to sound
beneath the stopping point when moving
downwards.
The lifting platform must be re-calibrated,
further operation not possible.
The lifting platform must be re-calibrated,
further operation not possible.
The lifting platform must be re-calibrated,
further operation not possible.
Adjust the clock with the PC configuration
software.
Interrupt power supply. If the problem still
persists: Replace the control board.
Re-calibrate end stops and stopping point.
